Vicky Li is part of our Quantitative Research Team and joined Hanover in 2016!
What has been your most memorable experience with Hanover, to date?
Learning is the most memorable experience I have, to date! I’ve learned different statistical analysis software and data visualization tools along the way. Also, everyday, we have non-standard quantitative project requests from our clients, which require us to be analytical and creative.
What skills can new Hanoverians expect to learn?
A lot! As a quantitative researcher, you will learn new modeling techniques, new coding tricks, new data visualization tools, and everything else that helps become a more data-savvy and business-savvy researcher. In addition, as a researcher at Hanover in general, you will have the opportunity to interact with clients very early in your career, which also builds your client interaction skills.
Why did you choose Hanover, and why should others work here?
I chose Hanover because I wanted to help company leaders make data-driven decisions and further grow their businesses. At Hanover, I have the chance to solve critical business problems faced by companies in various industries, which is very exciting and intellectually stimulating. I’m also glad I’m surrounded by a group of smart researchers who constantly inspire and help me! Anyone who is looking for opportunities like this should consider joining Hanover!
Hanover will be at Georgetown on February 16, see you there!
