Stephanie Azodo – Senior Research Associate, Survey Team
What’s been your most memorable experience with Hanover, to date?
My most memorable experience with Hanover, to date, was when I went to a client’s company to deliver the results to a study for which I had done research. Typically, when a report is completed, the client is called, and then they are walked through the results over the phone. However, on this occasion I was given the opportunity to go to the client’s office and present the results in person. This experience stood out to me because it showed me that the reports I create are extremely useful to our clients.
What skills can new Hanoverians expect to learn?
New Hanoverians joining the survey research team, can expect to learn a variety of skills in data handling, survey design, data analysis, writing/report creation, and statistical analysis software use. Hanover creates an environment that fosters the continued development of skills, either fledgling or advanced, with continuous support from fellow researchers, managers, and project directors. Hanover also offers learning opportunities for skills outside of your primary role, which allows for further skill-set variation.
Why did you choose Hanover, and why should others work here?
I chose Hanover because I wanted to work for a company that would facilitate my growth as a researcher. Starting at Hanover fresh out of college, I was aware that there was a lot that I needed to learn. I believe Hanover has created an environment in which I am not just able to learn but also innovate new ideas. At Hanover, you are surrounded by a group of friendly and intelligent researchers that guide you as you develop and support you as you innovate.
Hanover will be at Howard University on September 25, see you there!
