In brief, what is your role at Hanover?
My role as a Sales Director at Hanover is to introduce smart, innovative, exciting companies to Hanover’s unique model for providing market research support. Every day I have the opportunity to speak with executives about the future of their organizations and the support Hanover can provide to help get them there.
Why did you decide to work at Hanover?
Growth! Hanover has tripled in size since I began working with the organization in 2012. This growth brings new opportunities for my peers and myself to advance our careers. I also really believe in the service Hanover is providing our clients, because I know our analysts are the best in the business.
In your opinion, what sets Hanover apart from other organizations?
Our attitude. Hanover is not a dull or boring place to work. It is a company full of collaboration, where staff are always looking for the best way to accomplish a task. This desire to constantly improve allows every employee to make contributions from day one. We always figure out a way to tackle our goals, and I love the challenge of doing so.
Why should graduates at your alma mater be interested in working at Hanover?
Graduates from any alma mater should be interested in working at Hanover. I have four colleagues who are fellow Cougars, and my peers come from other rigorous academic backgrounds as well. If you are looking to start your career at an organization that provides the opportunity to train and grow into a new position after your first year, you have come to the right place. Because of our rapid growth, if you can prove yourself, Hanover is a place to springboard your career right out of college.
What is your favorite part of your job/the company?
The interesting conversations I get to have every day. Fortune 500 executives talk to me about their most challenging initiatives and then ask me what I think my company can do to help. Being able to think on my feet and provide these powerful individuals with solutions to their problems is a rewarding opportunity, and it makes every day different and more interesting than the last. My other favorite thing about Hanover is our people. The organization was built by young professionals and that culture still exists today. My co-workers are my friends and we all enjoy working together every day.
