Earlier this Spring, our Charlottesville staff relocated to a new office between the city’s historic Downtown Mall and Court Square. The Old Michie Building, once home to a stable, book publisher, and law firm, is a mixed-use space, now hosting a variety of tech start-ups, architecture/design firms, and non-profits, as well as an Irish pub and “Wine and Design” studio.
The move was a team effort, with Piper Bradshaw acting as chief logistics officer. As part of the transition, Hanover donated furniture to a local school cooperative led by a Hanover alum, Kristina Weaver. Long-tenured staff may recognize those wooden chairs (top right) from the first Hanover office finding good use in a new home.
The staff are settling into their new space well and are looking forward to enjoying summer in C’ville.
