Hanover’s Week of Service included volunteer opportunities each day at DC Central Kitchen. We’ve partnered with this remarkable organization numerous times before and remain impressed by their mission, passion and efficiency. In addition to providing meals to various organizations and charities, they also have a job training program and catering business serving farm-to-school meals to lower income children. Hanover staff were put to work in the prep kitchens – we chopped, sliced, diced, packaged and sorted each day we were on site. Across the week, we had more than 40 staff volunteer at one of their two locations.
