On October 3rd, Team Hanover partnered with Rock Creek Conservancy and the National Park Service to remove trash from the woods and trails near Woodley Park in NW Washington, D.C. Hanover worked to sort, collect, and remove hundreds of pounds of recyclable materials and trash, while playing an important role in the ongoing effort to address the biggest threat to the park’s ecosystem…city garbage! As members of the local community, Hanoverians are happy to volunteer some time and energy to support the restoration of a beautiful shared space on a beautiful day in D.C.!
P.S. Did you know that Rock Creek Park is the oldest and largest urban park in the United States?
