In brief, what is your role at Hanover?

I’m a Content Director at Hanover.  In this role, I work directly with our K-12 education partners to understand their organizational challenges and strategic goals.  The Content Director also collaborates with our research staff to develop and carry out research projects that will provide our partners with information to inform their decision making.

Why did you decide to work at Hanover?

As a K12 education policy specialist, I was interested in roles that enabled me to apply research for the greater good in education. When I learned that Hanover’s clients include a deep pool of public school districts, state education agencies, independent schools, and non-profit organizations, I knew it was a good match for me.

In your opinion, what sets Hanover apart from other organizations?

Hanover is a great place to be, wherever you are in your career. Whether you are looking for your first job or have a little more experience, Hanover encourages employee growth and performance.

Why should graduates at your alma mater be interested in working at Hanover?

If you are interested in moving to the Washington, D.C. area, then you should consider applying to work for Hanover. Our research teams draw the most talented researchers, and the level of intellectual rigor is enjoyable and helps you to grow professionally and personally. On a lighter side, the D.C. area is an exciting place to live, and the company promotes fun events and an overall good vibe.

What is your favorite part of your job/the company?

Hanover is a challenging yet supportive environment that rewards “grit” (for those of you who are familiar with Professor Duckworth’s key research). Learning doesn’t stop at Graduation, and as long as you have a “growth mindset”, you’ll go far with Hanover.
